Prana Mudra Yoga Workshop on Saturday 22nd June

Use Yoga asana/postures and Marma massage to free the Pranic flow in the body.

Summer will soon be here and so will the first of our two ‘Room To Write’ creative writing courses for 2013. If you fancy stretching your mind and imagination in convivial company with fine food, beautiful surroundings and a plethora of word games, writing exercises, discussions, readings, one-to-one tutorials and instructive workshops, then this is the weekend for you.
The two tutors are Marcus Moore and Sara-Jane Arbury. Marcus Moore is a Gloucestershire-based writer and performance poet, and was an ambassador for the BBC’s ‘RAW’ adult literacy project. He has over 30 yrs experience of teaching, performing and facilitating. Sara-Jane Arbury is a dynamic and innovative performance poet, writer and actor, published in a variety of publications including Staying Alive by Bloodaxe. She has over 20 years of experience in tutoring and organising literary events.
The dates are Friday 31st May – Sunday 2nd June and Friday 27th – Sunday 29th September 2013. Each course runs from 5pm on the Friday to 5pm on the Sunday and costs £195 all inclusive (accommodation, meals, refreshments and tuition).

We’ ve got a new addition on the farm – Dave the sheep, as acquired from Simone’s sister (where he was an over-zealous back garden muncher).
He’d been bottle-fed so is very tame and even responds to his name (sometimes!) Dave has become firm friends with the donkeys who seem to like having having something round and fluffy about.
Note he wears a collar so that he can go on his lead to be walked to and from his stable every morning and evening – the animal-loving vegetarians Simone and Roger don’t want him to be lonely in the field at night!
