We’ ve got a new addition on the farm – Dave the sheep, as acquired from Simone’s sister (where he was an over-zealous back garden muncher).
He’d been bottle-fed so is very tame and even responds to his name (sometimes!) Dave has become firm friends with the donkeys who seem to like having having something round and fluffy about.
Note he wears a collar so that he can go on his lead to be walked to and from his stable every morning and evening – the animal-loving vegetarians Simone and Roger don’t want him to be lonely in the field at night!
The boys have been laying new paving cobbles to cover the otherwise gravelled area next to the walled garden. It means there’s an extra mingling space for wedding guests plus the paving features not one but two chess boards!
We’ve a new horse-drawn carriage on the farm that will hopefully be used during weddings for carrying bride and groom plus the less able, up and down the road from the tipis to the main farm area.
We hope Bonny the horse likes it!

It’s been a busy last couple of weeks for Steve, our yurt maker and now giant tipi maintenance man. Here he is repairing some tension points in the canvas, ready for a summer of weddings!
