Celebrate
The Ceridwen Centre charm helps add to the success of all sorts of celebrations on the farm – birthdays, anniversaries and weddings with our sister business – Welsh Green Weddings.
The great thing about our venue means you and your guests can have sole use, getting to spend the whole weekend on-site in accommodation for forty, including self-catering and B&B rooms as well as yurts and camping to choose from. Other types of celebration can use any combination of the accommodation that suits their event needs. As bride and groom, you have the opportunity to spend your wedding night in a lovingly restored Romany caravan, tucked far enough away in your own beautiful valley.
The Old D
airy – a restored original farm building with many stunning features, is licensed for wedding and civil ceremonies and can seat 60 plus. Hold your special celebration here and continue the mood in the fabulous bespoke tipi-style tent, commissioned new for 2012. We guide you through the possibilities so that it won’t cost a fortune and it won’t cost the earth – making your celebration fabulous and unique without persuading you to spend more than you want to on more than you need. Our assistance can range from providing a rural Welsh backdrop to managing the whole event for you, expressing your joint tastes and personalities.
We cater delicious vegetarian fare with the best possible ingredients from the best local suppliers, including our own small market garden. We work with you to accommodate your tastes and preferences. Similarly, we offer a drinks list at very reasonable prices – organic wines, beers, sparkling wines and ciders.
What we wouldn’t call ourselves is a party or festival site. We’re committed to respecting the farm, the land, our surroundings and our neighbours – for those who want a rural, less commercialised, more individual and often smaller, green event. We want to keep the events we host here to a manageable, safe and sustainable size, where everyone can enjoy the peace and beauty of the surroundings and where the things which attract people to this part of Wales are protected and safeguarded. Our absolute top number is 140 but we really feel we’re more suited to smaller celebrations of up to 100/120.
But at least you can indulge here with a clear conscience. Our green ethos rides high and we’ve a range of environmental features including solar water heating, biomass boiler for heating and solar electricity. Plant a lasting memory of your celebration with a native Welsh apple tree that you can return to visit in years to come, perhaps with your kids!
