Celebrate – Dathlu

Ceridwen Centre charm helps add to the success of all sorts of celebrations on the farm – birthdays, anniversaries and weddings with our sister business – Welsh Green Weddings.

You can opt for a ceremony-only, a small one-day wedding or exclusive use of the whole farm, spending the whole weekend on-site in accommodation for over fifty, including self-catering and B&B rooms as well as quirky glamping options ( yurts, eco pod, The Hop Shack, The double decker Bus and camping)  to choose from. Other types of celebration can use any combination of the accommodation that suits their event needs. As bride and groom, you can choose to spend your wedding night in a lovingly restored Romany caravan, tucked far enough away in your own beautiful valley.

The Old Dairy – a restored original farm building with many stunning features, is licensed for wedding and civil ceremonies and can seat up to 76 people for a ceremony including bride, groom and 2 registrars. Continue the mood in our fabulous bespoke tipi-style tent.  We guide you through the possibilities so that it won’t cost a fortune and it won’t cost the earth – making your celebration fabulous and unique without persuading you to spend more than you want to on more than you need. Our assistance can range from providing a rural Welsh backdrop to managing the whole event for you.

We cater for everyone but major on delicious vegetarian fare with the best possible ingredients from the best local suppliers, including our own small market garden. We work with you to accommodate your tastes and preferences. Similarly, we offer a drinks list at very reasonable prices – organic wines and sparkling wines, local beers and Welsh ciders.

What we wouldn’t call ourselves is a party or festival site. We’re committed to respecting the farm, the land, our surroundings and our neighbours – for those who want a rural, less commercialised, more individual and often smaller, green event. We want to keep the events we host here to a manageable, safe and sustainable size, where everyone can enjoy the peace and beauty of the surroundings and where the things which attract people to this part of Wales are protected and safeguarded. Our absolute top number is 144 for all celebrations.

You can indulge here with a clear conscience. Our green ethos rides high and we’ve a range of environmental features including solar water heating, biomass boiler for heating and solar electricity, eco hot tub. Plant a lasting memory of your celebration with a native Welsh apple tree that you can return to visit in years to come, perhaps with your kids!  you can either opt for a civil ceremony for your wedding and / or you my be interested in using a celebrant to create a bespoke alternative ceremony with you for your wedding , baby naming or renewal of vows (see our links for recommended local celebrants)
