TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR BOOKINGS AT CERIDWEN CENTRE
COVID-19 CANCELLATION AMENDMENT
In the event that we are required to close our doors, we’re happy to reschedule or refund all bookings at no additional cost.
ARRIVAL NIGHTS AND MINIMUM NIGHT STAYS
We currently operate a policy for Ceridwen House and our Glamping units where our guests arrive for weekend stays on Fridays only for 2,3 or 7 nights and for midweek stays on Mondays only for 4 or 7 nights stays.
In our B&B and camping pitches guests can arrive and stay for any number of nights in the week but we operate a policy of minimum 2 night stays at the weekend.
We can make some exceptions to this in special cases.
CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT TIMES
Check in time is after 3pm and check out time is 10am. Any other times are by prior agreement.
BOOKING POLICY
To make a reservation we require your card details. Your card will then be charged with the deposit immediately. We reserve the right to charge your card for any damages or breakages.
FAMILY FRIENDLY SITE
We welcome children to our 40 acre farm. There is plenty of space for them to let off steam! We have a large wooden play structure and, when the new pole barn is not being used for events it is open for table tennis, pool and other games. Children if they wish can help with feeding our pet sheep, donkeys, chickens and horses in the evening.
Parents are responsible for their children’s safety and actions when using our facilities.
Remember that sound carries particularly in the peaceful countryside evenings. Please respect our neighbours and other guests especially those with babies and young children.
We also do not allow fireworks because of our animals and the neighbouring farms.
PETS
We welcome well-behaved dogs with prior arrangement and payment of £25 per dog per stay in Ceridwen House(max 3), £15 per stay per dog in all glamping (Pod, Bus and Yurts) and in B&B. Maximum of two dogs in B&B and in yurts. Only one dog is permitted in the Bus, the Pod or Yurts. Two dogs are permitted in the HopShack and in B&B. The dogs must never be left unattended in accommodation or allowed in the bedrooms or on furniture. Please remember we have chickens, donkeys, shire horses and sheep and we are surrounded by fields with farm animals.
CANCELLATION AND RESCHEDULING POLICY
Guests who wish to cancel or reschedule a booking should contact us as soon as possible.
Deposits already paid for Glamping and B&B are only returned in the following circumstances:
• Cancellation made 15 days or more in advance of arrival date = Full refund
• Cancellation made 14 days or less before arrival date = 50% refund
• Cancellation made 3 days or less before arrival date = No refund issued
• No- shows. Guests who have not contacted us in advance, who are unable to attend, or fail to attend for whatever reason, forfeit the full cost of the booking.
Deposits already paid for Ceridwen House are only returned in the following circumstances:
• Cancellation made 42 days or more in advance of arrival date = Full refund
• Cancellation made 41 days or less before arrival date = 50% refund
• Cancellation made 7 days or less before arrival date = No refund issued
• Non-arrival guests who have not contacted us in advance, who are unable to attend or fail to attend for whatever reason forfeit the full amount of the booking.
We will do everything in our power to reschedule your booking should you need to do so at minimal charge if we are able to relet the accommodation.
Please note that in the case of bookings are made via Booking.com, Expedia and Airbnb, cancellation will be dependent upon the conditions with those third party booking agents.
It is suggested that booking guests take out appropriate holiday/ cancellation insurance where required. In the rare event we need to cancel your booking with us, please be aware that we cannot be held liable for circumstances beyond our control, and that our liability to you is limited to the refund of any payment already made.
Our liability for loss, (as a consequence of any enforced closure of our centre through unforeseen circumstances), is restricted to the amount paid for any booking.

As we know you will understand we are a small but very busy centre and, as such, need to adopt this cancellation policy to allow us time to replace your booking. Thanks for your understanding: it is much appreciated.
GOOD HOUSEKEEPING BOND
A good housekeeping bond of £250 for Ceridwen House is an additional charge due with the balance payment of your booking. The whole amount will be returned within two weeks of departure as long as the building is left clean, tidy and nothing is broken or damaged. Any cleaning above or beyond the usual, or any damage, will incur an extra charge which will be taken out of the bond.
ROOM OCCUPANCY & EXTRA GUESTS
Please be aware that all of our double rooms are reserved for single or double occupancy only. Due to safety implications and housekeeping requirements any guest found to be in breach of this double or single occupancy rule will be subject to an extra fee upon check out.
HEN/STAG POLICY
We do not allow Stag parties. We ask that we are made aware of any proposed Hen parties at the time of booking, and we may refuse the booking if we feel it may compromise the enjoyment of our other guests. If you book for a Hen or Stag party without notifying us prior to the booking we reserve the right to refuse the booking upon arrival with no refund.
LOSS OF PROPERTY
No liability shall be accepted by us for loss, damage or theft of personal property belonging to guests, either in the property or in/to cars, bicycles or other vehicles left on the property. Nor shall liability be accepted by us for accident or injury to guests, either within the property or outside.
ADDITIONAL CHARGES FOR LOGS
Extra baskets of logs (first one complimentary, then £16 per giant basket for Ceridwen House. Logs are free for yurts. Additional charges are made of £25 per wheelbarrow of logs for use in firepits. No bonfires are allowed.
RECYCLING
The environment is a major concern for us. Most of our facilities are built using second hand materials and local labour. Recycling areas are provided in three separate containers glass, plastics paper and metal, and general waste – please use these!
NO SMOKING POLICY
Ceridwen is 100% smoke-free. Smoking is not permitted in any part of our accommodation. Should it be brought to our attention that smoking has taken place, a cleaning fee of £250 will be imposed.
PROBLEMS OR DIFFICULTIES
Please do inform us as soon as possible, on the numbers provided or by email, if you have a complaint with your accommodation or if you find that anything is faulty within the accommodation that needs our attention, so that we can assist and repair or make alternative arrangements. Due to the limited period of hire, it may not be possible to repair such items immediately but we will do our best.
