1/ Where is Ceridwen Centre?

We’re just over a mile from the A484 which runs between Carmarthen and Cardigan in West Wales.

2/ Which county is Ceridwen Centre in?

We’re actually in Carmarthenshire but it’s the North-West corner of the county so we’re pretty close to Ceredigion and Pembrokeshire.

3/ Is Ceridwen Centre a remote place to go on holiday to?

It depends on what you’re used to! We’re only just over a mile from an A road and our closest pub is a mile away in Drefach-Felindre.

4/ Are there any pubs within walking distance?

The John y Gwas is the closest – about a mile away, and then The Red Lion is a bit further in the middle of Drefach-Felindre. Next closest is The Lamb of Rhos (up the lane on the A484) – about a mile and a half away.

5/ Does Ceridwen Centre accept pets?

We love dogs and welcome self-catering visitors’ dogs, subject to all the usual caveats (under owner’s’ supervision, being responsible about dog mess & about closing gates, not allowed on furniture or beds and with a limited number of pets per accommodation unit. Please ask for details.

6/ Do guests pay to bring their pet with them?

Yes, there is a per dog payment per stay – please ask for details.

7/ Is there WiFi in Ceridwen?

Yes, there’s WiFi in Ceridwen (the big house) and in the farmhouse (for B&B guests). Please check if you’re planning to stay anywhere else.

8/ Is there mobile reception at Ceridwen Centre?

Mobile reception in West Wales is patchy to be honest. However, Ceridwen Centre is located on a small farm of 40 acres, (Penybanc Farm), and often it’s just a question of strolling a few metres to find a signal.

9/ Do supermarkets deliver to Ceridwen Centre?

We hope that guests will shop locally – there are lots of small independent shops in the area, in Newcastle Emlyn and in Llandysul which need your support. However, both Tesco and Asda will deliver to Ceridwen.

10 /Is there golf locally?

We have a 9 hole golf course very close by – Saron Golf Course. There is an 18 hole course in Carmarthen.

  1. Where is the nearest A&E department?

The nearest A&E is in Glangwili Hospital in Carmarthen.

  1. Are the bedrooms ensuite in Ceridwen (the big house)?

There is one ensuite bedroom in Ceridwen – Gwili. This room is downstairs in the annexe and has additional external access by ramp. It has a wetroom shower room and toilet which is fully disabled-friendly.
