If you want to look after yourselves, come and go as you please, be completely independent and just use Ceridwen (or our other properties) as a base for your stay – that’s fine. Bring shoes you can walk in; bring wellies; be prepared for all kinds of weather – it can change and change again within five miles and an hour; bring a torch…discover what makes this part of Wales so special.
If you want to be looked after, fed and watered by us, and then to chill out in front of Ceridwen’s woodburning stove of an evening – then that’s fine too. We strive for ‘home-made’ hospitality and take pleasure in seeing our food whole heartedly enjoyed. We serve delicious vegetarian meals (Vegetarian Society approved), for all types of guests, those on courses and retreats and also holiday-making visitors too. Please see our seasonal, evening meal example menu. We can work with you according to the needs of your occasion, whether it be a particular celebration cake or strict dietary needs. We use fresh seasonal ingredients, from our own garden or the best local suppliers. Home-made chutneys and jams are always available to buy or are served at breakfast time.
If you would like to be pampered with beauty and holistic treatments while you’re with us, we invite only experienced therapists to provide treatments for our guests. They use the dedicated treatment room next to the Old Dairy, (or occasionally a room in the Byre or in Ceridwen, depending on numbers & convenience).
Please see the leaflet below for information on treatments such as massages, facials, and manicures. Follow this link for alternative therapies: Energy Massage and Indian Head Massage Information

For some, the best way to relax is through learning or developing a skill or creating something beautiful. We can offer a range of art workshops here for all ages and ability levels, taught by our onsite Art Teacher. Please read through the leaflet below.
