Mountain Biking

Wales is up there in terms of world-class mountain biking and this area offers the right mix of terrain that makes a superb mountain biking spot: mountains, remote moors, deep valleys and vast expanses of forestry. 


West Wales Trails is based here on the farm with its own Skills park, from where you can hire a bike to explore the area or take further afield.  Mountain Bike Guiding

We  adapt to your pace and skill levels, whether you’re a fit group of lads or a family with young children,  experience the adrenaline pumping down-hills or absorb the beautiful views. This is a physical activity for anyone with a sense of adventure. Matt, our experience and qualified guide can show you the best the area has to offer and make sure you all have an unforgetable ride.

Carmarthenshire hugs the Cambrian mountain range and offers unique and wild moorland and mountain rides, undulating rural trails, rocky bridleways, endless forest roads and singletrack, loads of old drovers’ roads, long since used footpaths and beautiful green lanes through time-stopped villages – all right from the door.

We will meet you on the farm or at the start of a trail, after we’ve kitted you out with a bike and a helmet we’ll will go through a safety brief, some basic training and bike handling skills, then we’ll set off.

For the full trail-centre experience there are the world class trails of Brechfa-forest, Cwm Rhaeadr and Nant yr Arian only a short drive away.

A trip to one of the the local trail centres will take you from unsteady beginner to bursting with confidence with beautifully designed progressive trails.
