Booking Terms & Conditions

Please read the following, if there is something you then need to discuss please do and we will do our best to be flexible. The client agrees that:

For bookings of Ceridwen house and Byre cottage 

1. A deposit of 30% of the booking total is required unless the booking is made closer than 6 weeks before arrival when the full booking fee will be charged. 
2. The deposit will be refunded according to the cancellation conditions.
   Full booking balance must be paid 42 days before arrival
3. If the booking is cancelled less than 14 days before arrival then a charge equal to the full booking amount will be made. If the booking is cancelled 14 or more days before arrival then a charge equal to 50% of the stay will be made.
4. In the event of a no show or booking reduction (after arrival date) the full cost of the booking is charged.
5. A good housekeeping bond of £250 is an additional charge due with the balance payment of your booking. The whole amount will be returned within two weeks of departure as long as the building is left clean, tidy and nothing is broken or damaged. Any cleaning above or beyond the usual, or any damage, will incur an extra charge which will be taken out of the bond. If the booking is made last minute and within 7 days of your arrival date, the bond increases by £50.

For Glamping bookings

1. A deposit of 30% of the booking total is required unless the booking is made closer than 14 days before arrival when the full booking fee will be taken
2. The deposit will be refunded according to the cancellation conditions.
   Full booking balance must be paid 14 days before arrival.
3. If the booking is cancelled less than 14 days before arrival then a charge equal to the full booking amount will be made. If the booking is cancelled 14 or more days before arrival then a charge equal to 30% of the stay will be made.
4. In the event of a no show or booking reduction (after arrival date) the full cost of the booking is charged.

General conditions for all bookings

1. We allow well-behaved dogs with prior arrangement and payment of £25 per dog. We ask for no more than 2 to stay in the Byre and 3 in Ceridwen. The dogs must never be left on the premises unattended or allowed in the bedrooms or on furniture. One dog is allowed to stay in a yurt, with payment of £15 per dog per stay and 2 dogs in bus or hopshack.
2. Heating is free but additional charges include extra baskets of logs (first one complimentary, then £25 per large basket for Ceridwen or £12 for the Byre) and free for the yurts
3. Guests are welcome to arrive any time after 3pm on the day of arrival and will need to vacate by 10.00am on the final day. Other arrangements may be possible if made in advance.
4. No smoking is allowed in any of the properties.
5. We reserve the right of entry to the properties at all reasonable times for the purposes of inspection or to carry out essential repairs or maintenance.
6. In the unlikely event that we have to cancel the reservation due to circumstances beyond our control, we will provide a full refund of monies paid. No further financial claims will be considered.
7. No liability shall be accepted by us for loss, damage or theft of personal property belonging to guests, either in the property or in/to cars, bicycles or other vehicles left on the property. Nor shall liability be accepted by us for accident or injury to guests, either within the property or outside.
8. Please do inform us as soon as possible if you have a complaint with your accommodation or if you find that anything is faulty within the accommodation that needs our attention, so that we can assist and repair or make alternative arrangements. Due to the limited period of hire, it may not be possible to repair such items during the period of hire.
