The Hopshack is our upcycled static caravan clad in local timber & recycled corrugated tin. There is second-hand insulation in all walls, floor & ceiling. This year (2024) we have installed central heating throughout to keep the place nice and toasty for you!

From the spacious veranda, your views are of our organic veggie gardens and a secluded, tree-lined valley. 

The Cooker

The hob requires lighting by hand with matches.

If you want to use the oven push the red button and light the oven at the back- bottom right- with a match.

Water

The water is from our farm borehole, is non-chlorinated, and is great to drink. It is tested and approved by Carmarthenshire County Council each year. 

Heating

Central heating throughout. The boiler can be found in the cupboard in the sitting room. 

There is a heated towel rail in the ensuite. 

Toilets and showers

There is an instantaneous gas boiler for hot water, which is in the tall cupboard in the sitting room. 

Please consider our poor green, septic tank. It can’t digest baby or facial wipes, nappy liners, cotton buds, sanitary towels, etc. Please don’t flush these down the loos! Thank you! 

BBQ 

There is a barbeque on the veranda, and utensils can be found inside.
