Your Space

Our converted smallholding offers you and your guests a whole range of possible options for both your ceremony and celebrations. From spring through to autumn our wedding garden and bespoke family made Welsh Oak pagoda provides a stunning outdoor ceremony space. Our reclaimed and restored church pew benches, hay bales and lawn  surrounded by nature provide a walled garden space for you and your guests.

For those preferring an indoor ceremony, or throughout the winter months, our polebarn and giant double tipi around the courtyard can accommodate up to three hundred and forty guests.

For more intimate celebrations the old dairy and byre adjoining are perfect for anything for a couple and their witnesses up to seventy two people

Your Food

We truly believe in eating with the seasons. Sourcing ingredients that support local Welsh food and drinks producers to accompany what we grow here in our soil association certified organic gardens.

Our in house chefs are on hand to deliver your bespoke wedding feast, rest assured nobody goes hungry.

We specialise in proper food cooked over fire in front of you.

All our couples who have booked weddings are invited free of charge to our wedding taster. Which usually takes place in the February of the year of your celebration. There, you can sample canapes small plates and try some of our fantastic desserts made by our pastry chef Tracy (check out her wedding cakes they are amazing!)

You can also talk face to face over several glasses of wine with our wine suppliers.

We have spent over twelve years cultivating our relationships with the very best Welsh food producers.

Our little corner of Wales has to offer. Be in no doubt you and your guests will have an amazing feast.

Your Accommodation

Our home is your home. Few places offer as many options in as many different spaces as we do here at Pen Y Banc.
We can accommodate you and up  to sixty four of your guests across a fantastic range of structures and buildings.
Our converted smithy is the largest of our roofed accommodation comfortably housing nineteen guests. The Byre (milking parlour in old English or even Old Norse bœrbýr if your feeling a bit viking) sleeps up to six across two bedrooms. With two bathrooms and a spacious open kitchen and lounge.
Our glamping options include our luxury converted 1965 Leyland Titan double decker bus.
We have six secluded yurts. The Hopshack an upcycled caravan has a verandah overlooking the heart of our organic produce garden. Each with their own private space

Our cosy Ecopod is a beautiful two-person cabin tucked away in the corner of our wildflower meadow. We have eight camping pitches, mown each year in a wildflower meadow, and electric hookups on flat land for up to four motorhomes or camper vans.

Whatever you or your guests’ budget we have stunning spaces for them to stay.

Our team really are what makes this place special. We couldn’t be prouder of what we achieve, we have grown over the twelve years of being here from a family business of four of us to a team of more than twenty.
We now have generations of other families working alongside us. Some live on site, others in the neighbouring villages. All are friends. We are are proud to be an eco conscious, local employer, providing the very best professional service – we look forward to meeting you.
